Are you considering becoming a troop leader with Beavercreek North? Whether you want to spend more time with your daughter or be an adult Girl Scout that shares the Girl Scout way with others, being a Girl Scout Leader is an amazing experience!
Beavercreek North Girl Scout leaders come from all backgrounds and experiences. Being a leader is as much a learning experience as a leadership experience. Some benefits include:
- monthly meetings with all leaders to learn about upcoming events, ideas from other troops, and training.
- small group breakout sessions with other troops your age, prior to large group monthly meeting
- training opportunities presented by the Beavercreek North Service Unit
- private facebook group for Beavercreek North leaders, fall product managers, and cookie managers
- Leader/Daughter camping trip
The Adult Conference is a chance for leaders throughout all of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio to come together, share ideas, and learn new skills. It’s one of many opportunities leaders have to train and socialize.
